Killucan

Park up at Thomastown Harbour and take a 2.3 km detour off the Royal Canal Greenway to explore the small village of Killucan. Or enjoy the friendly atmosphere and refreshments on offer at Nanny Quinn’s, a traditional Irish pub located directly on the Greenway. The perfect pit stop for food and drink as you head west from Maynooth on the Greenway, Nanny Quinn’s pub also signals that the end point is near for those travelling eastwards. A short hop (2 km)  west to Riverstown Bridge, you’ll find Cunningham's pub, a popular spot for locals. Both are ideal places to enjoy a drink after a long day of walking, cycling or running on the Royal Canal Greenway.
