Toome

Stop off at the tiny village of Toome and enjoy splendid walks in spectacular nature, right on the banks of the River Bann. 

Take one of several routes down the Toome Canal, including a gentle 2 km walk to the banks of Lough Neagh. Enjoy refreshments at Gran’s Cafe, or a pint and one of the famous sunday dinners at O’Neill Arms Country House, which also offers B’n’B accommodation. Visit Ben’s Ice Cream Studio, a family-run business offering homemade treats. Or enjoy angling on the banks of the River Bann – Toome is especially famous for its eel fishing. However you choose to spend your time in Toome, you’ll enjoy beautiful country views and serene waters.
