The Blueway from Drumshanbo to Carrick-on-Shannon offers 16.5 km of paddling starting below Drumshanbo Lock. Within that 16.5 km, the trail is divided into five individual journeys guiding the user between access points along the trail. A 10 km walking/cycling trail meanders alongside the water. You can even walk on water on the floating boardwalk at Acres Lake.
