Pause to explore the unspoilt beauty of Keshcarrigan, an area of unique historical and archaeological significance in County Leitrim. Situated under the ancient pagan burial sites of the Sheebeg and Sheemore hills, it's a popular stopover point for cruisers down the canal. Moor up at Keshcarrigan Marina, which has showers, public toilets, laundry facilities, a pump out, slipway and power. Replenish your supplies at Kelleher’s shop at Lock 12, then take a short stroll into town, where you’ll find Gerties Bar and Restaurant, an excellent cake shop and several B&Bs. Just outside of town, you’ll find the beautiful Keshcarrigan lock, which is perfect for walkers looking to explore.
