Belturbet

Visit the beautiful town of Belturbet in County Cavan, nestled in the heart of the UNESCO Geopark in an area of incredible natural beauty. Located right on the banks of the River Erne, and offering activities from boat hire to golfing, Belturbet is well served by pubs, restaurants and B’n’Bs. 

Moor up at Belturbet Marina, which has onsite parking and public toilets just a short walk away. It’s also home to several beautiful parks, including Morrissey Park, which has a playground. Enjoy a picnic on the banks of the Erne, or head into town to enjoy bars and eateries. Across the Erne, you’ll find Turbet Island, with its many pretty walking trails
