Somerset Forest walk

Take a peaceful stroll in Somerset Forest, close to the Lower Bann’s western bank. Wind your way through the forest’s broadleaf and conifer trees, spotting herons, squirrels and native bird species. Somerset Forest’s gravel paths and gentle terrain make it ideal for families with pushchairs, joggers and walkers of all ages. Wheelchair users and those with limited mobility may enjoy the short, circular path, which meets the “Millennium Miles” accessibility criteria, while joggers and exercisers will enjoy the equipped fitness area and outdoor gym located by the carpark.
