Mary Lynch's pub marks a famous landmark at McNeads Bridge (also known as Knead's Bridge) where the Royal Canal Greenway crosses the old N4 motorway. There is ample public parking available at the crossing point, and a small amenity jetty for passing boat traffic. The major town of Mullingar is just 11km west and represents the halfway point of the Greenway.
