Killucan

Head north from Thomastown Harbour on the Royal Canal Greenway for 4 km to explore the small village of Killucan. Or enjoy the friendly atmosphere and refreshments on offer at Nanny Quinn’s, a traditional Irish pub located directly on the Greenway. The perfect pit-stop for food and drink as you head west from Maynooth on the Greenway, the pub also signals that the end point is near for those travelling eastwards. A short hop (2 km) west to Riverstown Bridge, you’ll find Cunningham's pub, a popular spot for locals. Both are ideal locations to enjoy a drink after a long day of walking, cycling or running on the Royal Canal Greenway.
