Waterways Ireland wishes to inform masters of vessels and all waterway users that Ballykennan Lock on the Barrow Navigation is currently non-operational.
The Operations Section is assessing the situation, and the lock will be brought back into operation once repairs are completed.
Waterways Ireland apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks all users for their understanding and cooperation. Further updates will be issued as soon as possible.
