Waterways Ireland wishes to advise customers that following extensive rebuilding and renovation works to Vicarstown Harbour walls:
- The Canal at Vicarstown will re-open to boat traffic and vessels will be permitted through Vicarstown from 9am on Friday 3rd April.
- The Blueway at Vicarstown Quay will re-open from 9am on Friday 3rd April.
- Vessels moored in Vicarstown will be permitted to return to soft bank moorings from Friday 3rd April.
Works will continue on the new quaysides for a further 2 weeks, installing additional water taps, cleats and landscaping. To facilitate these works all hard-edge moorings in Vicarstown, north and south of Vicarstown Bridge, will remain out of service until Saturday 18th April.
