Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and waterway users that Phase 2 of maintenance works at Devenish Island East Jetty will commence on Monday 19 January 2026.
Works involve upgrades to the existing jetty piles and decking boards, with completion anticipated by March 2026. During the period of these works, Devenish Island East Jetty will be closed and unavailable for access.
Masters of vessels are requested to observe all on-site signage and comply with instructions issued by safety boats operating in the area. Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience this may cause and thanks all users for their cooperation during these essential works.
