Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all vessel masters and canal users that repair works to the masonry bridge carrying vehicles over the Jamestown Canal at Corry, Co. Roscommon are scheduled by Roscommon County Council from Tuesday 13 January to Friday 23 January 2026.
The canal will remain open to navigation; however, users are advised to approach the area with caution and follow all safety instructions provided by contractors.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks all users for their cooperation during these essential works.
