Waterways Ireland advises masters of vessels that planned fishing events on the following jetties will be reserved exclusively for organised angling events:
Mini Mahons Fishing Festival - Sunday 19 April 2026 to Friday 24 April 2026
- Broad Meadow (Castle Jetty; right-hand side, closest to the Castle)
- Round ‘O’ Jetty – outer leaf (one peg)
- Carrick Reagh Jetty (Ely Lodge)
Fermanagh Fishing Classic - Sunday 26 April 2026 to Friday 1 May 2026
- Round ‘O’ Jetty, Enniskillen (outer leaf, one side)
- Sligo Road (Henry Street) Jetties, Enniskillen
- Enniskillen Castle Jetties
- Tom’s Island Jetty (near Castle Archdale)
Boaters & Angiliers are invited to note:
- Designated jetties are reserved exclusively for event participants during the specified periods.
- Vessel access and mooring are prohibited at these locations during event hours.
- Masters of vessels should be aware of fishing lines in the water near jetties during events.
- Anglers have priority at Waterways Ireland jetties only during approved events. At all other times, vessel mooring takes priority.
- Look for signage indicating jetty closures and public mooring restrictions.
- Please report any conflicts outside of these event windows to the Erne Inspectorate.
