Dry Dock Booking

Before you continue

In order to apply for a dry dock, you must be aware of the following information:

You cannot make a booking more than 60 days in advance of the proposed date of occupation.
You are required to upload a written letter from your insurance company confirming that adequate insurance is in place to bring the vessel into a Waterways Ireland dry dock for maintenance, repairs or inspection work.
Waterways Ireland Dry Docks are suitable for flat bottomed vessels. Any other hull shape will require a shoring/propping certification by a qualified person, before entry will be permitted into the dry dock.
A minimum of 3 crew excluding the lock keeper are required for safe docking. 4 crew members is preferable.
It is critical to dry docking that you have 4 mooring ropes available in time for your booking.
