Strokestown International poetry Festival

The festival is now well established as one of the leading literary festivals in Ireland. Its origins are rooted in the songs and poetry of the area around the local mountain Sliabh Bán. The tradition of verse lives on and can now be enjoyed by a wider audience each May Bank Holiday Weekend.
