Discover Tullamore Day set for 04th October

Failte Ireland and Waterways Ireland are delighted to announce that Tullamore has been chosen to host a Discovery Day in Irelands Lakelands and Inland Waterways. The day will be organized by a committee formed of local trade with the support of Tullamore Chamber of Commerce, Tullamore Town Council and Offaly County Council

Discover Tullamore aims to raise the awareness of the tourism offering in the Lakeland and Waterways region of Tullamore and highlight the range of product offerings from visitor attractions, dinning, entertainment and activities. The afternoon is essentially one large familiarisation visit for the people of the area so that they can become au fait with what is on offer on their doorstep and in turn act as ambassadors for the region to domestic and overseas visitors.
