WATERWAYS IRELAND AT THE LONDON BOAT SHOW

Waterways Ireland, is exhibiting at the 2006 London Boat Show from January 6th to 15th, in the ExCel Exhibition Centre, London Docklands.

The Waterways Ireland stand (N1914) which is located in the Inland Waterways section in the North Hall is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors during the course of the Boat Show. Waterways Ireland will also host representatives from a number of trade partners during the show, including Tara Cruisers, Shannon Castle Line, Belleek Charter Cruising, Corraquill Cruising, Carrick Craft and Manor House Marine. In addition, there will be a daily prize draw for a week long boating holiday, for visitors to the Waterways Ireland stand.

Waterways Ireland is also delighted to announce that the new website for the organisation (www.waterwaysireland.org) will be officially launched at the London Boat Show at 5pm on Friday 13th January at the Waterways Ireland stand. The official launch will be performed by Jodi Fisher who is the current World Water Ski Slalom Champion.

Waterways Ireland is responsible for managing, maintaining, developing and restoring the following inland navigable waterways: the Lower Bann Navigation, the Erne System, the Shannon-Erne Waterway, the Shannon Navigation, the Barrow Navigation, the Grand Canal and the Royal Canal.
