The guide featuring places to eat along the inland waterways managed by Waterways Ireland, has been independently compiled by renowned food writer Georgina Campbell on behalf of Waterways Ireland.

Martin Dennany Director of Marketing & Communications, Waterways Ireland speaking about the guide stated 'I am delighted that Minister Ó Cuiv joined Waterways Ireland at the Volvo Ocean Race, Galway to launch the Taste of the Waterways. This guide to selected food and hospitality premises along the waterways is not only for the boating public but also for those that come to walk, fish, canoe, cycle or sightsee along the beauty of the waterways and encourages them to stay, eat and spend more money in this environment. The 'Taste of the Waterways' provides a true experience of our inland waterways.'

Featuring over 80 premises along the 1000km of inland waterways, the guide features premises within a corridor along the Barrow Navigation, the Erne System, the Lower Bann, The Grand Canal, the Royal Canal, the Shannon-Erne Waterway and the Shannon Navigation.

Waterways Ireland would like to thank Georgina Campbell for this superb guide.
