In order for Waterways Ireland to give consideration to the granting of a lease in this instance, we will require three copies of the following information:
1. Copy of Planning Approval for the proposed works (if applicable) and details of any associated works on or adjacent to Waterways Ireland property, including a full set of drawings and any other associated documents that formed part of the approved planning application. If planning approval for the proposed development is not required, please confirm same in your reply. 2.An Ordnance Survey Map (Scale 1:2500) identifying the location of the proposed amenity area. 3.An Ordinance Survey Map (Scale 1:500) outlined and hatched as follows:- •Property under the jurisdiction of Waterways Ireland for which a lease/licence is sought outlined in red, and with the area computed in square meters. •Land requirements for any temporary works should also be identified, edged and hatched in green. 4.Details of the plans and proposals regarding responsibility for the on-going management and maintenance of the amenity area and associated structures or services, when the works have been completed. 5.Details of any proposed boundary fence along Waterways Ireland’s property which the proposed development adjoins. 6.If applicable, details of the location, specification and intended use if any pipes or cables e.g. earth wire cables which are proposed to run through the Waterways Ireland’s property. Please identify the position of these on a 1:500 Ordinance Survey Map and mark in blue. You should be aware that this list is not exhaustive and Waterways Ireland reserves the right to request further details if deemed necessary in the consideration of your proposal.
