Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and users that routine maintenance vegetation removal works will take place along the banks of the Lough Allen Canal between Drumhauver Bridge and Battlebridge, Co. Leitrim.
Works will be ongoing from Thursday 05 September to Monday 23 December 2024, between the hours of 0900 and 1700. Canal and Blueway users are urged to exercise caution in the area; certain Blueway sections may be closed intermittently during this period.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.
