Waterways Ireland wishes to inform Masters of Vessels and waterways users that a series of events will take place in Killaloe over the weekend of Fri 16th to Sunday 18th September 2022 focussing on the waterways and St Flannan’s cathedral. The schedule of events as follows:

Friday 16th September
Lough Derg Branch IWAI  - end of season celebration, (Commodores, John and Sandra Lefroy, Matt Daniels). Guest of Honour Mayor O' Brien. 
                                         
Art Exhibition on the theme of waterway and environ - Saint Flannan's Cathedral Friday 16th - 18th September. (Trish Taylor Thompson )

8pm Norma Manly & Band in concert - St Flannan's Cathedral


Saturday 17th September
Presentation - Gary McMahon Director, AK llen. Sailing in Irish and international waters for over a century. (St Flannan's Cathedral 12 noon)

Presentation - The Bells of Saint Flannan's Cathedral 3pm (Martin Cooper). Honoring Bryan and Betty Brislane.

Concert - 8pm 'Killaloe a musical celebration ' Mary Donohue/Paul Fitzpatrick & Friends. (Proceeds to the Lough Derg Coastguard and Killaloe Fire and Rescue Services)

Sunday 18th September
9am - 10am Tai chi by the waterside. (Caroline Rainsford) This session is free and suitable for all abilities.

11.30am Ecumenical Service Saint Flannan's Cathedral. Blessing of the Waterways and Environ.

Followed by a presentation by Sandra & John Lefroy - 'Phoenix'. (Presentation to John and Sandra)

Closing Celebration Lough Derg Branch IWAI.
