Waterways Ireland works under the guidance of a corporate plan approved both by the Department of Culture Arts and of Leisure in Northern Ireland and the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht in the Republic of Ireland. From it annual Business Plan's are developed and approved.
