Waterways Ireland wishes to inform users of Lough Ree that the Athlone Boat Club Rowing Regatta will take place on Saturday 13 June 2026, at Coosan Point, during which rowing vessels have priority.
Navigation Advisory:
- Rowing crews and support craft will be active on the water from 09:00 to 18:00.
- Masters of vessels are asked to comply with instructions from race marshals and safety boats, and to keep the racecourse clear.
- When navigating near rowing crews or race officials, vessel wash and speed must be kept to a minimum.
Waterways Ireland thanks all waterway users for their cooperation and assistance in ensuring the safe and successful running of this event.
