Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters of vessels that, due to a mechanical failure affecting one lock gate, passage through Sarsfield Lock, Limerick, is currently restricted to vessels capable of passing through a single gate opening.
As the lock chamber is 12M wide, vessels up to approximately 5M in beam should be able to transit without restriction.
