Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters of vessels that Lock 25 Cappincur on the Grand Canal will be closed from 26 November to 10 December due to emergency repair works.
To facilitate these works, the water level between Lock 24 and Lock 25 will be lowered for the duration of the repairs.
Affected boaters are requested to contact their local Water Patroller for further information or assistance.
An update will be issued when more information becomes available. Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience and thanks its customers for their cooperation.
