Waterways Ireland wishes to advise users of the Royal Canal towpath, west of Clonsilla (Dublin 15), that sections of the towpath will be intermittently closed over the coming weeks to facilitate surface maintenance works.
These temporary closures will occur along the route between Callaghan Bridge, Clonsilla, and Pakenham Bridge, Barberstown, and may last until early December 2025.
Towpath users are requested to heed all safety signage and follow any pedestrian diversions that may be in place during the works.
Waterways Ireland apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the cooperation of towpath users.
