Waterways Ireland Participate in Stormont Family Fun Day

Waterways Ireland will be promoting the inland waterways at the Stormont Family Fun Day on May 30th Bank Holiday Monday.

The Waterways Ireland Trailer and event team will be one of many entertaining family activities taking place all day in front of Stormont. Waterways Ireland will be easy to locate in Zone 7&8, and the Waterways Ireland trailer provides a wonderful meeting point for all waterway interests. Find out more about waterside events and hospitality or how to get out on the water whether cruising, rowing, sailing, canoeing, or power-boating.

Waterways Ireland promotes easy access to the waterways through publications and DVDs as well as supporting a programme of waterside activities throughout the summer. The Waterways Ireland sponsorship programme will support over 70 events in 2011 getting local communities and international festivals out on the water. The Waterways Ireland Riverfest in Coleraine and the Waterways Ireland Loughfest in Enniskillen are just two of the wide programme of events engaging locals and tourists alike in watching and taking part.
