Summer Fun in Fermanagh

FIND SUMMER FUN IN FERMANAGH

Waterways Ireland and Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism have announced details of the "I Found Summer Fun - Fermanagh - Lough Erne Summer 2006" event which is to run in Fermanagh during August and September.

The event will feature community festivals, country shows, World Waterskiing Championships, a Heritage Boat Rally, a weekend of water sports, canoe polo, family fun days and much more.

Excited about the events, Martin Dennany, Waterways Ireland, said:

"With over 40 events on and off the water, catering for all age groups and tastes, Lough Erne will be the place to be in August and September. Waterways Ireland is delighted to be providing major sponsorship for many of the water based activities and hopes that visitors to the region will enjoy what's on offer."

Tanya Cathcart from Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism commented:

"Fermanagh will be the place to be this August and September. As well as a full programme of activities there are many other exciting attractions that the visiting public will be able to enjoy."
